What Drives My Approach
- Person-Centered -
I follow the wisdom of my clients and support the goals they want to work towards.
- Trauma-Informed -
I believe healing happens through connection and that we are all in the process of healing.
- Harm Reduction -
I believe in doing what we can now in order to make possible what we want to do eventually. Baby steps are steps.
- Contexts and systems -
Examining our experiences in different contexts and systems of oppression provides a deeper appreciation and understanding of ourselves and others.
- Relational -
I believe in the healing power of relationships and that that tending to relationships takes practice and skill.
- Neurodivergent affirming -
I work to challenge ableism by trusting the perceptions and experiences of all types of nervous systems.
- Fat liberation -
I believe all bodies are good bodies.
- Collaboration -
I believe the best quality care happens when providers collaborate and work together with the client.
I currently work with adolescents (12+ years old), adults, and couples.
